Sports Day 2008
It was the morning of the 29th of March at the MPSJ Sports Complex. It was the day when Sekolah Sri Sedaya has their 6th Annual Sports Day. The day started at 8:02am with the march past from all the four houses, starting with Blue House, followed by Green House, Yellow House and Red House. There were many beautiful cheerleaders doing their cheer as the students marched.
After the march past, everyone sang with spirit as they sang the National Anthem. After that, there was a speech from the President of the Parent-Teacher Club, Mr. Muhammad Adam. This was followed by the award giving for the top ten in each category of the cross country race.
Finally, it is time for the sports events to begin. The events are 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m and races for the parents and teachers. Everyone did their best, both the competitors and the supporters, to make this day a success, especially when the weather was burning hot.
At the end of the day, there was a speech from Dr. Shih before giving the awards for every event. Although some of them got sunburn, it was still a very satisfying day.
